Worked briefly with author. Way so very preachy... expected more about her trials and tribulations about cancer and effect with daughter. I will pass the book on to a friend, she may get more out of it than I did. Skimmed all the sermonizing.
Awesome book, very touching and very funny. The author is well versed on her subjects and the book was easy to read and understand. Her ability to transform her ideas and way of thinking was very creative. If you are looking for a motivating and inspirational book this is it!
This book is Awesome! The Author is very funny, strong, motivated and sensitive. Her choice of scriptures she used from the Bible to overcome and conquer her obstacles and challenges are an inspiration for all to read. I give this book 5 stars for simply being inspirational, courageous, understanding and loving.
I had the pleasure of meeting Susie and reading her book. I have to admit that I am glad it wasn't longer, because I could not put it down! I felt as if I was really getting to understand some of life's situations that I have never had to endure. As I have gotten older, I really appreciate hearing of other people's struggles in life and how they have overcome them. I wish more of us would learn at an earlier age some of the lessons that Susie does a wonderful job of sharing with us instead of learning the hard way. After reading this book, I realized that we can all overcome much more than we realize, if we have the right relationships. Susie has those relationships with her God, her daughter, and even through the love of her dog. Small book that is packed with worthwhile reading that can help prepare any of us for those things that we never believe will happen to us. Thanks for sharing
